On June 2017, the Port of Fujairah and AD Ports Group signed a 35-year concession agreement, announcing the establishment of Fujairah Terminals.
Under the concession agreement, AD Ports Group was granted the rights to upgrade and improve container handling infrastructure, providing a range of services including container, general and project cargo, Ro-Ro, cruise ship, rail handling, and livestock.
Strategically located on the eastern seaboard of the UAE, the multipurpose terminal is a critical logistics hub for the entire GCC, East-West shipping lines, and an outlet for the Indian subcontinent, Red Sea, and East African markets. Capacity is expected to reach 720,000 TEUs and 1.3 million tonnes of general cargo by 2030.
Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, located in the heart of Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi, is a leading hub for the cruise industry. It serves as the ultimate gateway for international cruise lines and passengers, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure, world-class terminal operations, and comprehensive services capable of handling all types of cruise terminal operations.
In 2019, AD Ports Group developed Marsa Mina, a vibrant waterfront lifestyle destination. Situated against the backdrop of Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal at Zayed Port, Marsa Mina provides a diverse range of retail concepts and casual dining options for international visitors and the local community.
To accommodate the growing cruise industry in Abu Dhabi, Cruise Terminal 2 was launched in Q4 2022. This expansion significantly increased capacity, enabling the terminal to provide exceptional services and further enhance the cruise experience for passengers. In addition to warm and traditional Arabian hospitality, cruise passengers enjoy a variety of services at Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, including restaurants, souvenir and retail shops, foreign currency exchange, and airline city check-in.
The ongoing development of new services, such as the recently added heliport, has further enhanced the terminal's offerings, contributing to its global recognition and numerous awards, including the World’s Best Cruise Terminal and Destination.
