Environmental ‎Stewardship

‎Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management‎

Our Energy and GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Management Framework aims to ‎improve efficiency, embrace innovation, and integrate renewable energy ‎across our value chain. This robust framework enables continuous monitoring ‎of energy consumption, helping us reduce energy intensity and dependence ‎on fossil fuels.

Climate Change Targets

  • 22% reduction in GHG emissions (across Scopes 1, 2 & 3) by 2034
  • Net-zero emissions by 2050‎

Nature and Biodiversity Conservation

AD Ports Group recognises that thriving marine ecosystems are fundamental ‎to business sustainability and community wellbeing. Across our operations, ‎the Group protects marine biodiversity through responsible environmental ‎stewardship, robust monitoring programmes, and partnerships with scientific ‎and conservation organisations. By supporting the health and resilience of ‎marine environments, the Group helps preserve ecosystems that benefit ‎nature and society.

Waste Management

AD Ports Group's Waste Management Plan sets responsible practices in line ‎with circular economy principles. We actively embrace the 4R framework -- ‎Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Recover -- across the lifecycle of our materials ‎and equipment.

  • 75% recycling rate of total solid waste targeted by 2030

Low Carbon Economy Transition

AD Ports Group is systematically reducing its carbon footprint through ‎innovative and impactful decarbonisation initiatives. We are actively ‎transitioning our fleet towards lower-carbon alternatives through the:‎‎

  • Deployment of electric tugboats, pilot vessels, and trucks,
  • Introduction of LNG-powered vessels,
  • Phase-in of low-carbon fuels on owned vessels in alignment with ‎proposed IMO GFI requirements, and‎
  • Fleet renewal programmes replacing older, less efficient assets.‎
