AD Ports Group’s Sustainability Strategy is guided by internationally recognised standards, including those set by the UN Global Compact, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), and International Maritime Organisation (IMO) frameworks. Aligned with regional sustainability best practices, our strategy also follows UAE ADX ESG Disclosure Guidance and supports the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy.

Nature and Biodiversity Conservation
Safeguarding Coastal and Marine Ecosystems
We are committed to protecting marine biodiversity. Through a combination of conservation initiatives, environmental monitoring, and scientific collaboration, we help safeguard the ecological health and resilience of the marine environments in which we operate.
Coral Reef Conservation
Since 2008, our Marine Ecological Monitoring Programme at Khalifa Port has relocated over 500 coral colonies, supporting marine biodiversity conservation, habitat preservation, and ecosystem resilience.
Biohuts: Innovative Nature-Based Habitat Creation
In partnership with Ecocean and CMA CGM, we have installed 48 Biohut® habitats to support juvenile marine species, enhance biodiversity, and strengthen coastal ecosystem resilience.
Eco-Sea Wall Panels: Eco-Engineering for Coastlines
With Archireef and BCN Port Innovation, AD Ports Group deployed Eco-Sea Wall Panels, enhancing marine biodiversity and habitat creation on developed coastline.

We embed strong governance, assurance and continuous improvement processes throughout our operations, strengthening organisational resilience, and fostering a proactive safety culture.
