Abu Dhabi, UAE – 17 June 2025: His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, today has toured the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy (ADMA), the UAE’s flagship maritime & logistics training institute, part of AD Ports Group.
His Highness reviewed the advanced educational facilities and services. He was briefed on the Academy’s eight core training and qualification programmes, which combine theoretical with practical on-board ship training and state-of-the-art simulation. Such programmes prepare graduates for positions at AD Ports Group and other industry stakeholders.
His Highness highlighted ADMA’s integral role in supporting the maritime sector and further enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy across key industries, particularly in maritime shipping and logistics, by equipping the sector with top-tier talent, expertise, and advanced technological innovations and smart solutions.
His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince; Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group; and Dr Yasser Al Wahedi, President of ADMA.
